Our Location

Inverness is one of the beautiful, unspoilt parts of Scotland.
We think it makes the ideal touring base for a holiday that can be as active – or relaxing – as you wish.

Culloden Moor Battlefield

About 12 minutes drive from our guest house, you can immerse yourself in the chilling atmosphere of Culloden Moor, where Bonnie Prince Charlie’s fearless Jacobites flung themselves onto the bayonets and muskets of the Duke of Cumberland’s army. Today, you can walk freely around the site, where flags mark the position of the two armies and simple headstones mark the graves of the different clans.

Ness Islands

The Ness Islands are situated on the River Ness, opposite the Bught Park, in the city of Inverness, Scotland. The first bridges to the islands were built in 1828; prior to their construction the only access to the islands was by boat. The original bridges were washed away in the flood of 1849 and were replaced in 1853-1854 by two suspension bridges designed by William Dredge.
